In this Jamorama review I am talking about a skill known as transcribing music or in other words listening to music and then being able to translate it on your guitar. Most guitar players do not practice this skill but I feel it is way more important than learning by tabs. When you first get into the basics of guitar be sure to follow the Jamorama course but keep this skill in the back of your mind.

Guitar tabs give you that extra boost early in the learning curve as Jamorama suggests. But you should eventually quit the guitar tabs altogether so you can focus on mastering the art of listening to songs and then trying to play them on your own with a guitar.
